Indo Srilankan Youth Exchange Programme by Edu2020:
Edu2020 promotes Mainstreaming youth participation at International level by various measures using Exchange programme, Interstate/country cultural forum, Inter Country Youth forums, policy making at international level to raise youth voice and strengthening “Be Seen, Be Heard”.
Previously Edu2020,ADF in association with National Youth Services Council (NYSC), Ministry of Youth Affairs,Ministry of National Policies and Economic Affairs, Govt of Srilanka jointly founded India-Srilanka Youth Exchange (ISYE) Programme series held in Srilanka and India during July 2015,2016 & 2017.
We believe India-Srilanka Youth Exchange 2018 will give an opportunity to unleash the potential of our India-Srilanka youth to empower themselves and community around them. This visit will help our fellow youth to create peace talks, civic responsibility, culture understanding, policy exchange, Management skills, communication, rich diverse experience, field visits etc. We see opportunity for youth to develop and engage with societal issues to be a part of new generation change agent
Youth Peace, Reconciliation & Development project in Northern and Eastern Province of Srilanka (Visits to any of the selected districts Jaffna, Mannar, Kilinochi, Mullaitivu,Vavunia, Trincomalee)- Optional. The proposed visits involves youth, peace, reconciliation, relief, Volunteer and Social development projects in the Northern province of Srilanka once affected through 30 years of internal civil war. We aims to bring together various stakeholders on board to achieve our vision which is a strong empowerment of young people through holistic approach to enhance and Strengthen the Relationship between India and Srilanka. This visit involves potential interaction with global organisations,Parliament representatives, NGOs, educational institutions, Youth workers and Youth organisations, Rotary and involving with Volunteer activities.

Who can apply?
We welcome applications from young people between the 11-18 ages in adolescent category and 18+ Youth category to represent India in this Youth Exchange. Application from faculty coordinators, academicians, youth workers also most welcome.
Yes, passport is mandatory with mininum validity of 6 months from expiry for visa processing.
A formal permission letter to visit the factory is not mandatory.
Yes, any number of students can participate based on the availability of seats.
This package includes To and Fro Airfare, visa, accommodation, domestic transportation, all meals, beverages, certificates, awards and logistics for the duration of the programme.
